NA Vice Chairman welcomes Coca-Cola Vietnam CEO

VOV.VN - National Assembly (NA) Vice Chairman Phung Quoc Hien gave a reception to Coca-Cola Vietnam CEO Sanket Ray in Hanoi on December 12, during which he applauded the group’s effective operations in Vietnam for more than 20 years as well as its contributions to local social activities.

He told his guest that the Vietnam National Assembly desires to build a complete legal framework with a view to providing a favourable business environment for foreign businesses to invest in Vietnam, including Coca-Cola.

He praised the group for its wider use of raw materials and farm produce of Vietnam in its production while asked the group to continue seriously comply with Vietnam’s laws in meeting its obligations to tax payment and environment protection, and participating in social activities.

Coca-Cola Vietnam CEO Sanket Ray briefed the NA Vice Chairman on the group’s investment in Vietnam, saying that the group is destined to expand its operations by opening two more plants in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City in 2019 and 2020.

Coca-Cola Vietnam will adhere to regulations on environmental protection, produce products for the health of local consumers, and continue performing its social responsibility.
