NA Vice Chairman hosts Cuban court leader

VOV.VN - Vietnam greatly values the Cuban people’s sentiment towards the country over the past years, National Assembly Vice Chairman Do Ba Ty said at a reception for President of the People’s Supreme Court of Cuba Ruben Remigio Ferro in Hanoi on August 26.

The Vietnamese Party and people always remember the great support given by the Cuban communist party and people during the resistance war and national development process.

Vietnamese Party and State leaders always voice their strong support for the  friendship between the two nations’ courts as shown by the memorandum of understanding on bilateral cooperation signed in September 2013, Ty told his guest.

He suggested both sides should continue fostering partnership in a wide range of fields with a particular focus on the exchange of high-ranking delegations and the sharing of judicial experience.

Ferro, in turn, highlighted the significance of the Vietnamese Party and people to Cuba, adding that his nation is revamping its new Constitution and desires to learn from Vietnam’s experience in this regard.

He also praised Vietnam for giving voice in support of Cuba in external relations and helping overcome difficulties during its national development process.
