The Cuban Ministry of Culture stated that the fair will offer Cuban readers the opportunity to gain greater insights into Vietnamese literature whilst being able to take in unique features of Vietnamese culture.
Moreover, a range of Cuban culture and traditional customs will also be on show for guests to enjoy.
In addition, the book fair is set to provide an ideal venue for Cuban and Vietnamese publishers to exchange and seek co-operation in the field of literature.
The La Habana International Book Fair was first held in 1982 and has been running since as a biennial event.
It is considered to be the most prominent publishing and literary festival in the Caribbean nation, attracting the participation of hundreds of publishers from around the world.
