Present were Deputy Foreign Minister Nguyen Phuong Nga, Kazakhstan Ambassadors to Vietnam and China, representatives of Vietnamese agencies and departments, and Kazakhstan nationals living and working in Vietnam.
In his opening speech, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Khanh Hai said that the event is testimony to bilateral efforts to contribute to improving the traditional solidarity, friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
Kazakhstan Vice-Minister of Culture and Information, Askar Buribayev spoke highly of the growing Vietnam-Kazakhstan relations in the political, economic, cultural and art, and other fields.
He expressed hope that the concert will help promote cultural and art exchanges between the two countries and Vietnamese understanding of Kazakhstan’s land and people.
The 18-item concert was performed by seventy five Kazakhstan artists.
