V Heartbeat Live concert cancelled due to increase in COVID-19 cases

VOV.VN - The organisers of the V Heartbeat Live concert have announced their plans to cancel a large music gala involving artists from both Vietnam and the Republic of Korea as a result of the sudden rise in cases of the acute respiratory disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19).

According to an announcement made ahead of the Lunar New Year, the concert was scheduled to return in March and involve the participation of singers and dancers from both a K-pop and V-pop background.

Unfortunately for music lovers however, the ongoing COVID-19 epidemic has undergone a number of complicated developments since the announcement was made.

These factors have caused the Vietnamese Ministry of Health to suggest citizens do not gather in public areas in order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, causing the March concert to ultimately be cancelled.

The organising board have sent their sincere apologies to fans and expressed their sympathy.

Concerning the upcoming V Heartbeat Live concert in April, the organisers have stated they will provide an update shortly.
