Artists promote COVID-19 fight in music video

VOV.VN - A total of 40 artists nationwide have collaborated in a music project by composer Nguyen Van Chung to send a message of encouragement to frontline medical workers as they battle the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

The artists wearing face masks and protective gear sang together in the music video themed Ngay mai lai tuoi sang (literally meaning Tomorrow is bright again) aimed at promoting COVID-19 prevention and control measures.

The video features a number of famous artists such as veteran actress Hong Van, singers Phi Nhung, Ngoc Khue, Nguyen Vu, Nguyen Phi Hung, Hoang Bach, Duong Trieu Vu, along with transgender beauty Hoai Sa.

The music video has been filmed as part of a charity project with the same name, “Ngay mai lai tuoi sang”, which was launched by composer Nguyen Van Chung.

The project has so far raised VND151 million to purchase 3,000 pieces of protective gears, 4,000 medical gloves, 1,000 face masks, and 500 anti-droplet masks to support hospitals in Da Nang and the central province of Quang Ngai.

The remaining funds will be spent on buying tools that are capable of measuring people’s body temperature in quarantine areas and hospitals throughout the central province of Quang Nam, according to composer Nguyen Van Chung.
