ROK Navy ships with 600 crewmembers visit Danang

VOV.VN - Two ships of the Republic of Korea Navy with more than 600 crewmembers moored at Tien Sa Port Monday, September 18, beginning a four-day visit to the city of Danang.

During the visit, Commander Yang Yong-Mo from the ROK Navy along with other officers and crewmembers will meet with leaders of the Danang People’s Committee, Military Zone 5 and Naval High Command Zone 3.

In addition, they will play a series of friendly volleyball matches with Vietnamese sailors and take in some sightseeing the region.

On the occasion, the ROK Navy will present some 11,000 books to the Danang library, University of Foreign Language Studies and Danang University, Commander Yang Yong-Mo told reporters.
