Chef Isnard’s signature creations include Oyster cucumber, green apple and French caviar, Canadian lobster, squid ink quinoa, tomato and citrus, cauliflower condiment followed by Grilled Charolais beef tenderloin, tomato, truffle and baby onions and Butternut squash velouté, hazelnut and lime.

Local gourmands may opt for a four-course dinner menu at the price of VND1,988,000++ (wine pairing available on request) on November 9-10 or Evening Champagne Brunch on November 11 at VND2,288,000++ per guest.

During Chef Isnard’s three day take-over at the hotel, guests can have a chance to meet him at Chocolate Afternoon Tea at Café des Beaux-Arts (ground floor) from 2:30 p.m.

Chef Isnard’s culinary roots can be traced back to his childhood, when he acquired a taste for cooking from his Italian grandmother.

At the age of 22, he became the Chef de Partie for Relais & Chateau at its one-star Michelin restaurant called Le Prieure.

He currently co-owns the L’Auberge de la Charme restaurant in France, which earned a Michelin star in 2009 within a year that he and his three partners began operation.

The restaurant was also awarded three Gault & Millau toques. His cuisine combines tradition and innovation, mixing distinctive rustic flavors with provincial produce in the presentation of classic French dishes.

His innovative style has conquered the palates of connoisseurs worldwide, including Beijing, Dubai, Moscow, Abu Dhabi, Singapore, Saigon, Casablanca, Manila, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur and Macau.

Social Club Restaurant is located on level 23 of Hôtel des Arts Saigon, 76-78 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street, District 3, HCMC, and open for dinner from 5:30 p.m. Conceived by the Super Potato design firm of Japan, Social Club’s interior is reminiscent of 1930s Indochina.
