Trong told his guest that the cooperation between the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) and the Mozambique Liberation Front (Frelimo) needs to be developed in a more effective and practical manner for mutual benefit as well as for peace and development in the region and the world.
He praised the valuable, effective support and assistance that the Mozambican Party, State and people have given to Vietnam during the past struggles for national liberation as well as in the current national construction and defence.
The fine CPV-Frelimo relationship has contributed to reinforcing the traditional solidarity and friendship between the two States and their people, Trong said.
The Mozambican PM, in turn hailed Vietnam’s achievements and experience in national development and its regional and internal profile.
He affirmed his country’s determination to enhance the friendship and cooperation with Vietnam in a multitude of fields, especially telecommunications, agriculture, investment and trade.
