This is part of a wider celebration to mark the 40th anniversary of Vietnam-Spain diplomatic ties, organized by the Spanish Embassy in Hanoi.
Through five outstanding films, viewers will better understand the acclaimed cinematography of Spain, which ranks 4th in Europe and 8th in the world in terms of cinematic work.
One of the highlights of the week will be the screening of ‘Thi Mai”, the first Spanish feature shot in Vietnam. Director Patricia Ferreira and producer Larry Levene will be in attendance, talking about filming in Vietnam and will meet viewers at the first screening on October 18.
In addition to the film screenings, there will be an opening ceremony and a round-table discussion between filmmakers from Vietnam and Spain to foster connectivity between the two countries’ movie industries.
