Linh made the Top 20 with her project “Light Up The Darkness,” which was carried out in Cu Vai Village, Xa Ho Commune, Tram Tau District in the northern mountainous province of Yen Bai.
The project took place in October 2017 when Yen Bai Province suffered damages from a tropical depression. My Linh and her team were stuck in the severe flooding, however, they overcame the challenge, and completed the project to bring power to the village on the 21st birthday of My Linh.
Do My Linh, 21, is a student in Hanoi Foreign Trade University. She is 1.71 meters tall, weighs 52kg, and measures 87-61-94. Linh was crowned Miss Vietnam 2016 and since then she has taken part in many charity activities across the country.
The Miss World 2017 pageant began on October 20 in China. The grand finale will take place at the Sanya City Arena in Sanya on November 18.
