Vietnam’s satellite television services launched

The Vietnam Satellite Digital Television Company (VSTV) – a joint venture between the Vietnam Television and the French Canal+ Group launched K+ services in Hanoi on January 12.

The K+ service is Vietnam’s most wide-range satellite digital service. It can broadcast nearly 60 entertainment channels including, films, and sports as well as offer other monopoly TV channels such as the Champions League, the Europa Cup and the French and Spanish Championships.

Most of these channels have subtitles or are dubbed into Vietnamese to give the largest access possible to the Vietnamese public.
