Fans of romantic Vietnamese tunes will get a chance to immerse themselves in sweet melodies when veteran singer Anh Tuyet and her ATB band perform in the capital on January 29.
Titled Goi Ten Bon Mua (Call out the Four Seasons), the show will be the opening performance of Tuyet’s national tour.
The famous songs of late composer Trinh Cong Son including Cat Bui (Ashes and Dust), Mot Coi Di Ve (The Land of Living) and Ha Trang (White Summer) will be performed at the show.
An American man, Richard Fuller, fell in love with the music of Trinh Cong Son and will perform with the other singers.
“The show will be a meaningful gift not only for the Hanoian people, but also for the 70th birthday of composer Trinh Cong Son on February 28,” said Tuyet, who is also the founder of the ATB band.
The Hanoi show will take place from January 29-31 at the Friendship Cultural Palace. The show will then travel to Hue, Da Nang, Quy Nhon, Nha Trang and HCM City.
According to Tuyet, during the tour, in addition to the Call out the Four Seasons show, the ATB group will also present another show, Loi Ca Yeu Thuong (Songs of Love).
Songs of Love is made up romantic ballads by Vietnamese composers such as Doan Chuan, Van Cao, Pham Duy, Ngo Thuy Mien and Tran Tien.
“The song Nguoi Ha Noi (Hanoians) by Nguyen Dinh Thi will be presented by a chorus, which is expected to impress the audience,” Tuyet said.
