The TrustVn e-commerce websites programme was introduced by the Information Technology Centre under the Ministry of Industry and Trade in Hanoi on March 25.
TrustVn aims to evaluate, select and introduce prestigious e-commerce websites and keep businesses updated with online business standards.
It will set up an appraisal board based on the Asia-Pacific Trust Alliance (ATA)’s common criteria.
The same day, the Vietnam E-commerce Association (VECOM), which is responsible for implementing the programme, granted first membership certifications to 20 enterprises and six individuals.
