The Vietnam Airlines Engineering Company (VAECO) made its debut on February 24 as the largest aircraft maintenance service provider in Vietnam.
The company was established by merging the A75 and A76 aircraft repairing enterprises, and technology bureaux of the national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines under the Prime Minister’s decision.
It officially began operating on January 1 with a charter capital of VND420 billion owned by the Vietnam Airlines.
VAECO specializes in maintaining and overhauling aircrafts, engines and accessories. It also designs, manufactures, repairs and improves aircraft and aviation equipment.
