Mai Giang wins Vietnam’s Next Top Model 2012

(VOV) - Mai Thi Giang, a 21-year-old girl from Haiphong, outdid two other contestants to gain the championship title in Vietnam’s Next Top Model 2012 held in Ho Chi Minh City on November 25.

The Haiphong University student weighs 48kg and measures 77-63-88, having won a two-year working contract with BeU Model Management Company (worth VND1 billion), a member card in Fitness & Yoga (VND300 million), a cash prize (worth VND200 million) from Cosmopolitan magazine, a short-term training course in Tokyo, Japan, and some other prizes.

Two others in the Top 3 were Kha My Van and Cao Thien Trang.

The most favourite contestant voted by spectators was Nha Truc.

Also present on the final night were the Top 15 of Vietnam’s Next Top Model 2012, Hoang Thuy-winner of Vietnam’s Next Top Model 2011, Ho My Phuong (Top 9) from Vietnam’s Next Top Model 2010, who performed in dresses designed by Adrian Anh Tuan.

The four-month contest jury consisted of supermodel Xuan Lan, photographer Pham Hoai Nam, designer Do Manh Cuong and Creative and Art Director Nam Trung.
